The very large air-conditioned lounge is equipped with sofas and chairs capable of seating 4 adults in comfort (and 9 in total across both 'halves' of the lounge), a satellite TV/DVD/Video system receives the full Sky package including sports, movies and kiddy channels and a CD/stereo sound system. The satellite dish was upgraded in May 2014 to 1.1m following the move of UK terrestrial channels to a different satellite. The house has a telephone land line and broadband.
You will also find an extensive range of books, jigsaws and games for all ages. The floor is traditionally tiled with scatter rugs in the seating areas. The original fireplace with local marble surround is a feature of the room that has an inset wood burning stove for use in winter and can be supplemented by the reversible air-con units and free standing electric fires. We find the wood burner sufficient on its own. An under the stairs cupboard provides convenient storage space. This part of the lounge is about 20 feet by 14 feet 6 inches.
Overall, both parts of the lounge give you room space of over 40 feet by 24 feet.
There are pictures and mirrors on the walls with wall uplighters and a freestanding halogen uplighter. Two Tiffany ceiling lights provide an attractive evening lighting ambience.
Leading from the lounge is a separate downstairs toilet and shower room complete with double handbasin vanity unit and a wardrobe area. The area is fully tiled with ‘Italianate’ style tiles and downlighters.
The lounge has full length electric shutters covering the triple doors and front door and a manual shutter for the separate window.
With the exception of the TV all the items you can see are included in the sale price.
