We bought the house in 2002 and have had 13 wonderful years using it as a holiday home for ourselves and family and, since I retired in 2012, we have been spending roughly 6 months of the year there. We now have a small and beautiful granddaughter and we have decided, very reluctantly, to spend the bulk of our time in the UK - hence the sale.
From 2002 to 2006 we let the house and bought 12 of pretty much everything from plates/cutlery to sheets and towels - almost everything you can see in the various photographs is included in the sale price.
We have lovely neighbours and several sets of friends, French and English. There are about 6 English families in the village and the local Tabac stocks the Sunday Times!
Although the village has grown a bit since we bought there in 2002 it remains a quiet, quintessentially French village with a Mairie, Tabac, small supermarket fruit and veg store, a bakers and unisex hairdresser as well as two cafe/bars and a small restaurant. There is a pharmacy and several doctors and a dentist and a Post Office with an external cash machine.
It's less than 10 minutes into Beziers and 20 minutes to the beaches or into the Orb valley and places such as Roqeubrun. Narbonne is 15 minutes by car. If you are driving from the UK the route from Calais via Lyon is motorway all the way except for the last 5 kms!
