Our delightful, fully furnished and fully equipped, 5 bed home with a heated pool is to be found at number 29 Avenue Louis Pasteur in Maureilhan in the Herault District of the Languedoc Region. With over 300 days sunshine it is the 2nd sunniest part of France. Maison Pasteur is a typical French Maison de Village on 3 floors in a quiet avenue just one minute's walk from the village centre and 200 metres from the nearest vineyard. Mediterranean beaches are 25 minutes away and the large, historic town of Beziers about 10 minutes drive. The delightful tourist village of Capestang and the Canal du Midi are 10 minutes by car from the house. For the best in fashion and quality shopping a trip to Montpellier (40 mins) is a must.
The house has been completely refurbished, redecorated and renovated from top to bottom including a new roof, plumbing and wiring throughout and a new 8 metre by 4 heated, covered pool and poolside area/terrace. The south facing aspect ensures that all rooms are bright and airy. Outside, the front of the house is painted white with all shutters in the 'Provencale blue' that is so popular in this part of France.

The house is amazing, all three of us stayed in the main bedroom, Susan on the bottom bunk. She used one of the top front bedrooms as her dressing room, very posh. Nicholas fell in love with the size of the main bedroom and has got him thinking of a loft conversion to give us the same! The pictures don't do the house justice.

We had a really good holiday at Maureilhan and the house was up to our highest expectations - you and John had done an excellent job. The neighbours were very friendly and came out to say goodbye when we left.
